Christmas Lunch

Merchants House, 7, West George Street, Glasgow, G2 1BA

Friday 6th December 2019 - 12.15 for 12.45

=================================

Dear Member,

Our final event in our 60th Anniversary Year is our Christmas Lunch. Club President Roddy Young has pulled out all the stops to make it a really special event.

Wines from our cellar which have been chosen especially and laid down for today, will accompany our festive fayre.

After lunch, Club Past President Richard Paterson will talk to us in his own inimitable style.

If there are any dietary issues, please advise the Hon. Treasurer when making your booking.

Soprano Karina Bligh will entertain us during coffee.

There will be a raffle in aid of Club funds. It’s these raffles that allow us to purchase and lay down wines for an occasion such as today.

The Club would welcome any raffle prizes being brought on the day to enhance the experience.

Please have your payment to the Honorary Treasurer by Thursday 28th November. Reservations have been accepted, but places will not be saved until funds are received. If you particularly want to sit with (or away from) another party, please note that on the form.

There will be a table plan.

The President and his Committee look forward to seeing you at this, the final event, of 2019.

The lunch is sold out and this circular is only being sent to people who have pre-booked seats.

As always, we ask gentlemen members and guests to wear a jacket and tie.

Please respect the dress code and advise your guests of it, to save any embarrassment.
