“Summer Lunch”

Glasgow Royal Concert Hall

City of Music Studio

Friday 17th May 2024 – 12.15 p.m. for 12.45 p.m.

======================================

We are back at The Royal Concert Hall in May for our “Summer Lunch”. This is the one where we say a big Thank You to the people who have entertained our President over the last year. Any excuse for a party!

The Chiefs of the Other Trade Organisations, will be wearing their regalia on the top table. So, Medals and Regalia are the order of the day for members and guests in the body of the kirk, also. Feel free to wear your Regalia, if you are in office for any organisation. Please mention on the booking form that you will be doing so and on behalf of which group.

Stuart Baxter of International Beverage will present us with Balblair Single Malt, 12 and 15 year old.

After Lunch, we shall enjoy some rather special entertainment.

There will be a seating plan, so if you wish to sit near to (or far away from) anyone in particular, please note that on the booking slip at the foot of the page and return it with your ticket money. This is an event at which pre-payment is required. All bookings will be acknowledged. If you do not receive an acknowledgement within five working days, please contact the Honorary Treasurer.

As this lunch is being sold at nett cost, we would be most grateful for any prizes, for the raffle.

Please ensure that any male guests are aware of the dress code. Jacket and tie.

Please advise any dietary issues prior to lunch. Bookings by 10th May latest, please.

There have been a few instances recently of visiting guests being advised by their hosts (and others) that if they apply for membership, they will be a “shoe in”! This is not the case. Applicants must be involved in The Licensed Trade. See under Clause three of our constitution.
