Another “first” for The Club. This time we are venturing to the splendid surroundings of The Royal Scots Club in Edinburgh. This prestigious venue with a host of special features has agreed to open its doors to us for a lunch of note.


Our two sponsors who had agreed to support the lunch last year, have thankfully both continued the commitment to this year, following on from all the restriction we have endured.


Stephen Kemp, who has supported us on a regular basis, from Orkney Distilling, will bring us up to date with what’s going on with the ever-expanding company. Orkney are putting up “Northwest Passage” for a Gin and Tonic pre-lunch. Stephen will tell us the story of this rather special gin.


Paul Graham, Managing Director of Alexander Wines, has arranged for Ruth Sutton from Marqués de Riscal, to present some outstanding wines to accompany Chef’s fabulous menu. Ruth will give us an insight into Riscal’s increasing popularity and the story of this Spanish icon wine.


This is a ground breaking event in the “not to be missed” category. Places have already been reserved!


As always, there will be a raffle on the day and prizes (brought on the day) would be appreciated.


Booking no later than 15th October, please, with any dietary issues noted at time of booking. Bookings are always acknowledged. If you do not receive a confirmation within 2-3 days, please advise. Cancellations after the closing date will be charged for, in full.


Again, as always, dress code for gents is jacket and (members with Club) tie.


New style Club ties and scarves will be available. Each £20. Buttonhole pins at £7.50 will also be on sale at the door.
